This Sunday, 11th December 2016, the new timetable for all trains in Bulgaria, including The Rhodope Narrow Gauge, comes into effect. This will happen at 00:00 AM on Sunday, which means that the first narrow-gauge train to depart at a new time will be 16101, leaving Septemvri at 02:05 AM.
We are happy to announce that, due to the increasing number of passengers in the past year, the newly introduced trains No. No. 16107 and 16108 are both preserved by BDZ in the new schedule. This means that a total of 8 trains will roam back and forth all the way between Septemvri and Dobrinishte every day and an additional local train will run from Velingrad to Septemvri every morning.
The times of departure of most trains are the same as in last year's timetable with differences of just a few minutes. The only exception is train 16107, which will be departing an hour earlier than before.
